The Sclero lab recently participated in two outreach events using our state-of-the-art 3-D hologram projector. Sixth grade student from Waimānalo Elementary and Intermediate School came to HPU's Makapu‘u campus to interact with our hologram projector, microscopes, and Raman spectrometer. Additionally, we created a "sclerochronology" display for the public at the University of Hawai‘i School of Ocean & Earth Science & Technology Open House, where we showcased coral holograms and some of our multi-century skeletal cores .
