CT Scanning Coral Cores

Notes

CT scanners vary in their speed, resolution, and beam intensity. The most important thing is to find the scan settings that give the best images (e.g. most visible density bands) for your scanner and corals. Once these settings have been identified, it is crucial to always keep the settings the same, otherwise you will likely introduce density biases in your data.
